Oborona in Pictures
They say one picture is worth a thousand words. So, here are six thousand words about our recent activities (click an image to see it full size):
I speak to the press . . .
. . . at the scene of our most recent street demonstration for democracy and human rights, on April 21st in front of the Latvian Embassy, in support of our colleague Vladimir Linderman, who had been unjustly arrested and deported to that country as a result of his activities in sympathy with our cause. We believe the arrest was politically motivated and call for his release.
Noted scholar and former Kremlin insider Andrei Illarionov (top right) visits Oborona’s headquarters to give us his thoughts on issues of mutual interest . . .
. . . and to listen to our ideas as well.
I participate in a press conference . . .
. . . on April 16th, which we designated “Day of Solidarity” among opposition groups.
